Sun

Today the sun was finally out. For most of the day. So we could get on the tramp. Really fun. When it was later it got cloudy. But the sun was out!!! And no gym today. What a nice afternoon.

Rain Rain Go Away

It has been raining and raining. Yesterday it was pouring. Today it is pouring. Or at least it was. So we could not go out on the tramp. But since it is or was raining we had to do beam. Beam can be fun. I have been working on Flip-Flops on the beam. Those are really hard. Because you don't want to jam your fingers. When you jump back. So RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!!!!!

Chinese Pictograms

This is my Chinese Pictogram for Fall. I drew it in black paint. They are bare fall trees. With no leaves. We learned about these Chinese Pictogram's in history. We learned all about China in history. I had fun drawing my Chinese Pictogram.

This Years Halloween Costume

This year for Halloween I went as a Vampire Slayer. I had my own little stake and cross. I wore a black leather coat with a red tank top under the coat, and dark jeans with John Deere boots. I looked great. Also I wore some red lipstick.

My Halloween Pumpkin

This is my Halloween pumpkin!!! This year I decided to make swirl lines on it. I think it is the best pumpkin that I ever did. I love my pumpkin.

This is my orange kitty cat. I also used sharpie on this. I THINK SHARPIES ARE COOL!!!!!!!! They are the best!!!! I painted my cat in orange water color. (wish we had more sharpies) (wish they didn't cost so much money) Wish we had money.

Yesterday we took a ride on a 1929 Ford Tri-Motor. It was really, really bumpy.We flew for about 20 to 25 minutes. I think it was one of the longer flights. We flew all over Peoria. We went across the river we go over to get to Washington. i saw lots of neighborhoods. Many of the houses we saw had pools. We saw Grandma Marys house. Well I didn't really see it but we flew over it. On the plane it was like really, really loud. If you weren't right next to the person that you wanted to talk to, you wouldn't be able to. That is how loud it was. during the take off I felt like I was getting a foot and back massage. I would have hated to travel like that on that plane. If you were traveling for long time it would be really hard to fall asleep. Also if you wanted to draw you would end up scribbling all over the page. In the plane there could be only 11 people on the plane including the people driving.

The 1929 Tri-Motor we rode on was 146th out of 199 tri-motors constructed. It first flew on August 21 1929. It is now known as the tin goose. The 1929 Ford Tri -Motor was a pioneering aircraft of mass air transportation. The ride on the 1929 Ford Tri-Motor was really fun for my first time in a plane. I think it was cool for my first time up in a plane to be in a 1929 Ford Tri-Motor. I was so very, very, very, very, very, very, cool. And bumpy.

My Longboat

This is my viking Longboat. I have been learning about Leif the Lucky. This is my picture of a longboat. I used hollow sticks for the mast. The sail is a dark blue. Another name for the longboat is Serpent of the Sea.

This is my Haiku poem. It is all about a barred owl. I just love all of the owls. They are my favorite bird. We read a bird Haiku poem book. It was very fun to read. I liked it. They even put in an owl.

School Work For Monday Sepember 14

Today I started my new History book. It is called All American History. Today the study was all about Leif Eriksson. He was a explorer. He might be the one that discovered America. Also we started a unit study on flight. Later we will make a paper Moter Rotor. On Friday we have a quiz for vocabulary for flight.

My Line Drawing

A few days ago I drew this line drawing. It was very fun drawing it. This line drawing is of a turtle. Inside the turtles shell are little patches with different kinds of things. Here are some of them spiderweb, circles, candles, right and left angles, clouds, a triangle, and horseshoes. Also my turtle was a girl and she had a heart in her tail.

Hello

Sorry I havn't been posting. I know it has been a long time. Lately I have been very busy. But from now on every day execpt on tuesdays. Maybe tuesdays. I will try to post every day. Well that is what I hope to do.

Braces Come Off

On the exact day Monday November 3 I will get my braces off. The next day I will get a retainer. Finally I will get to chew gum. I have been waiting weeks for the day to come. I wonder what color my retainer case will be? But did I tell I get my braces off soon? I cant wait. Mom said I will be really sore. Oh well. At least they will come off very soon. They will be very sore because I have a jaw expander in so when it comes out it will be sore. That is why it will be sore. But my braces come off very very very very soon. My teeth will be very straight. And I can chew gum. Just wait until all my friends see me without braces. Wont they be very surprised. My friend jill has braces so she knows how it feel to have braces. Only 2 or 3 of my friends have braces ( I am one of them) and the braces will be off Monday November 3!!!!!!!! Plus I get a retainer. Maybe I get to pick what color my retainer case will be? Now finally my 10 year picture will be taken. It will be taken in a summer dress.. But it will be without braces. What will Christmas be without braces? Or Thanksgiving without braces? THEY FINALLY WILL COME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait. Yesterday was the last time I would get to choose what color my braces would be. Until the full set comes on. MY BRACES ARE COMING OFF VERY SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Samantha New Clothing

Samantha my new doll got new clothing. Today. She got most of them. 2 are sold out. They probably will not get any more. Why? Samantha is retiring soon. That is why I got her clothing. Every thing will be sold out before christmas. I sure will miss Samantha.
